China Customs Advanced Manifest (CCAM) Regulations & Uniform Social Credit Code (USCC)

China Customs Authorities have issued order No.2017/56 applicable to all China Imports and Tran-Shipments via Chinese ports.

Effective 1st June 2018 shipping lines are required to submit full ‘China Customs Advance Manifest’  24hours prior to vessel loading, which includes a new requirement called “Uniform Social Credit Code” (USCC) applicable to the importer, consignee & notify party.

You must ensure that accurate and complete data is included in your booking/shipping instuctions submission to SGL’s logistics team, or no later than the day before we load the container and it arrives at port.

Failure to comply could result in your container not being shipped and/or fines from China customs and failure to customs clear in China.

Please provide:-

Shipper as shown on B/L

  • VAT/EORI – Company name & address – contact name, phone number.
  • (Optional) – Shipper’s “AEO” Number – (Authorised Economic Operator)

Consignee & Notify Party on B/L

  • Unified Social Credit Indentifier (18 digit code) – Company name & address – contact name, phone number.
  • (Optional) – Consignee’s “AEO” Number – (Authorised Economic Operator)

When ‘Consignee’ is “To Order” = Notify Party

  • Unified Social Credit Indentifier (18 digit code) – Company name & address – contact name, phone number.

In order to comply with this regulation most Shipping Lines will implement an Advanced Manifest Submission Fee of approx.US$35 per B/L, if and when incurred SGL will pass this charge on at actual, for vessels departing as from 1st June 2018 onwards.
